The “principles of production” refer to all the things you need to do to make a video. That includes all the steps you need to go through to get from concept to delivery, and all the rules of best practice that will help you produce something good.
We’re currently working on a lengthy guide to video production for this page that will cover all these things, as well as tips on how to make your life easier and some of the issues involved with copyright.
While we’re doing that, please explore here for a collection of useful tips, links, documents, and infographics that will help you in your productions.

Here you’ll find the beginnings of our planned Principles of Production guide to video production. At present, we only have articles on a few key areas, but will be added to in the coming months.
These are a collection of documents and infographics that you may find useful when you’re producing educational media. Some of them are for using, such as the script template and the contributor release form. Others offer information on some of the principles of production as well as the technical side of things.
